Manitoba Teachers' Society offers an Educator Assistance Program for all of their members.  The program provides confidential and voluntary professional counselling and referral services.  It provides help and intervention at an early stage of difficulty and to enhance the health of members.

Support Staff

 

Homewood Health is the Division's Employee and Family Assistance Program (EFAP) provider for Support Staff employees and their dependent family members.

You can call the toll-free number (1-800-663-1142) 24 hours per day, 7 days a week, 365 days of the year.  An emergency consultation can be arranged within hours.  Instant support is always available over the phone.  Please be assured that the program is completely confidential.

Homewood Health EFAP offers the following:

Counselling Services - Marital, Family Relationships, Anxiety, Depression, Addictions, Stress, Life Transitions/Change and other personal issues.

Plan Smart - Lifestyle and specialty counselling services - a series of work-life services that provide expert advice, information, and coaching which is accessible online, at no cost to you or your dependent family members. (Click here for the Plan Smart Catalogue)
