"Smoke Alarms: Make them work for you!™"

With FPW just around the corner we want to remind everyone of all the resources available to make your FPW event successful!

Please see the following information to help you plan your event.

The NFPA Fire Prevention Week website, is a great start.

This site also offers various resources such as:

  • FPW Educator Toolkit: includes templates, social media cards, lesson plans, and more.
  • Smoke Alarm Activities: Download and print activities and tip sheets for all ages.
  • FPW Digital Catalog: includes a variety of products to make your FPW successful.

There are three main suppliers for Fire Prevention Week material:

The Firefighters’ Burn Fund, Manitoba Association of Fire Chiefs and the Manitoba government Office of the Fire Commissioner will once again be offering the Children’s Contest for kindergarten to Grade 4 students. So stay tuned for more information and keep checking back to the following website:
