Our Board of Trustees consists of ten members who are responsible for the governance of the Division and do so with a passion for education. The Board works behind the scenes on everything from school trips to approving budgets, working to ensure that education in Frontier School Division is progressive and held to the highest standard possible.
The Board are first elected at the community level, then to the area level to represent the best interests of the Division, from students to staff to taxpayers. Trustees meet regularly to listen, report, review, discuss and approve a whole array of items pertaining to every aspect of education in Frontier.
The Board's responsibility is carried out primarily by policy development, strategic planning, and budgetary establishment and control. All policies and practices are compliant with provincial and federal laws.
